Cleaning Services - Terms of Service and Conditions of Use
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing our site or using our services, you acknowledge that you understand, agree, and are bound by these terms.
Everything will be handled electronically. Upon collecting the required information, UpShot will email the Customer a quote for review. Once the Customer has accepted the quote, UpShot will email the Customer an invoice for acknowledgment and payment.
These terms ("Agreement) are by and between UpShot Cleaning Services LLC ("UpShot") and you, the Customer ("Customer") ("collectively the parties") ("you").
SERVICES. Cleaning services are as follows:
- Home must be empty and accessible to the cleaning team. If, upon arrival, the cleaning team cannot access the property as scheduled, a $50.00 lock-out fee will be assessed to cover the labor and travel expenses.
- Up to two pairs of hands are included with the cleaning services. If extra help is required, the Customer will be notified in advance of the additional cost of $30.00 per hour per pair of hands.
- The cleaning team will do a walk-through of the property. Any disposal of furniture, materials, or tools remaining at the property not initially disclosed or listed in the accepted quote will be subject to an extra charge of $50.00.
- Upshot will provide all cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Please allow the cleaning team an open time FRAME of 1 HOUR before or after your scheduled time for our arrival. Travel between jobs, weather conditions, and unexpected cleaning needs at a prior location will affect our arrival time at your home.
- The Regular or Deep Cleaning Services do not include grout cleaning or removing synthetic paint.
- The Regular and Deep Cleaning Services include clearing trash of all packaging, tape, plastic, and other signs of previous occupants are included in the service.
- Post-Construction cleaning includes clearing and hauling trash of all packaging, tape, plastic, and other signs of construction work.
- As a matter of routine, the cleaning team will clean the interior of windows, which are within reach, with a 2-step ladder/stool.
- The cleaning team is not permitted to allow anyone to enter the property while performing the designated services.
- Cleaners do not expect tips. However, cleaners are permitted to accept tips should you choose to leave one as recognition for exceptional cleaning service.
- UpShot will notify the Customer upon completion of the cleaning service and provide the final payment invoice upon receipt.
Extra Services/Additional Costs
- Customer is responsible for the disposal fee.
- Sweeping or cleaning the garage and/or patio
- Mold and mildew removal
- Grease cleaning
- Fixing small holes in the drywall
- Outside window cleaning ($3.00 per single window)
What We Don't Do
- Clean bio-hazardous substances (feces, blood, etc.)
- Our cleaning team will not handle any animal waste for health reasons.
- Organization and decluttering: UpShot is there to clean/disinfect.
- Lifting or moving heavy furniture
- Carpet/steam cleaning (but we can refer you to a partnered company)
- Clean areas that are out of reach with a 2-step ladder/stool
- Service customers who are disrespectful to our cleaners.
UPSHOT WILL EXERCISE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE OR TURN AWAY A CUSTOMER TO PROTECT THE CLEANERS, THE TEAM, AND THE BUSINESS.
PROFESSIONALISM. Each member of the UpShot team acts professionally and responsibly. Confidentiality is maintained concerning all clients at all times. Each member upholds honesty and integrity. Any doubts about the professionalism of any cleaner at any time should be reported promptly.
NEGATIVE REVIEWS. UpShot requires seven days to fix and resolve any issues and problems before relating negative feedback on any public website, including but not limited to BBB, Google, Citysearch, Yelp, and others. If you are not able to be present on the day of service to verify that cleaning was done to your satisfaction, simply EMAIL upshotcleaningsvcs@gmail.com or TEXT our office at 818-645-3644 with the details about the missing areas and pictures within 24 hours. A new team will be sent back and re‐clean those areas for free. Please note that refunds are not offered before a Re-Clean is accepted. A Re-Clean will only be completed within a three-day window from your date of service; otherwise, it will be considered denied. No refund will be offered if a Re-Clean is rejected.
COMMUNICATION. By accepting these terms, you agree to receive communications from UpShot via call, text, and/or email, including transactional communications.
RESERVATIONS. The Customer shall need to fulfill the payment requested by UpShot prior to the delivery of the service to guarantee the reservation. Any service order, once placed with and accepted by UpShot, may not be canceled by Customer except upon the consent of UpShot, which may be withheld within the sole discretion of UpShot. In the event that UpShot agrees to accept a cancellation after acceptance of the Customer’s order, then UpShot shall be entitled to a cancellation fee, which will be charged to the Customer’s credit card. Cancellations with at least two weeks' notice prior to the reservation date will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations with more than 48 hours ' notice but less than two weeks prior to the reservation date will be charged a $55 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged a $75 cancellation fee plus 10% of the total of the canceled service order.
PAYMENT. The Customer shall pay by any digital payment network accepted by Upshot or online invoices. UpShot will inform the Customer of additional charges, which will apply to the amount on file before invoicing. The Customer shall be liable for all taxes, fees, or other charges imposed by federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
CUSTOMER ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES. The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UpShot Cleaning Services LLC against all claims, damages, suits, penalties, fines, and liabilities for injury or death to persons or loss or damage to property arising out of Customer’s use, operation or possession of the dumpster.
RESOLUTION OF ANY DISPUTE. In the event a dispute arises between the Customer and UpShot, UpShot will provide the Customer with an efficient, neutral, and cost-effective means of resolving the conflict. Most customer concerns can be resolved quickly and to the customer’s satisfaction by calling, texting, and/or emailing the customer support department, which may be accessed by clicking on the "Customer Support" link at the bottom of every page on the website.
MODIFICATION OF TERMS. UpShot Cleaning Services LLC may edit, add, or remove parts of this Terms of Use agreement. If UpShot changes these terms, a reasonable effort will be made to provide notice.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT. Customer is solely responsible for its conduct while on this site and agrees to abide by all laws, contracts, intellectual property, and third-party rights.
TERMINATION. UpShot Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to terminate any services if it deems these terms of service and conditions of use violated.
This Term of Service and Conditions of Use Agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas.
